Buy $10 worth of pork ribs from the butcher and spilt it into 3 portions
For this recipe, you'll only need to use 2 portions.
Keep leftover portion for soups or other stuff.
- Heat the Oil
- Add in minced garlic (1 tablespoon)
- Add in minced ginger (2.5 tablespoon)
- Fry till fragrant

- Add 2 tablespoon of Dou Jiang (Fermented Bean Sauce)
- Add 2 tablespoon of Sweet Sauce
- Add 1 teaspoon of Soya Sauce
- Add 1 teaspoon of Dark Soya Sauce

- Add in Pork Rib to Stir Fry
- Add some Sesame Oil
- Add some Hua Tiao Wine
- Add some water to the stir fry mixture to induce sauce
- Turn off heat.
- Place stir-fried mixture into a steel bowl.
- Add some sliced chili for heat and kick
- Steam mixture for at least 45 minutes.
- If you need it to be more tender, steam for a longer time and check occasionally on meat texture.
This dish taste better the next day as the sauce is more infused into the pork rib.
